In December 2008, DAE rolled out its Strategic Plan. The plan is bold, focused, and reaffirms the DAE’s commitment to support innovative, hands-on arts instruction, which is essential to all students’ preparation to compete in a global society. DAE supports arts teachers and over 40 community arts and cultural partners with specialties in dance, drama/theater, music, and visual arts to provide quality arts instruction for over 50,000 PreK-12 students in over 100 district-wide programs, schools, and academies.
